Bay of Biscay

I had a glorious night and would have slept till 9 o’clock but Daddy switched his bed light on and woke me. We have our breakfast at 7.30. After breakfast we went on top deck to swim but it was too cold. Opposite the pool there is a deck reserved for deck quoits and there was a pitch empty so we had a game. We finished our game and we were going down to our cabin when Dad came up and mum told Dad that we had been playing deck quoits and he said he and would play so we all went up again. A man told us how to play properly. Amanda and I went down to the lounge and we had drinks on her. (I liked that best!)

We have started our scrapbook and a postcard album. We have got some flowers from somebody. The letter must have got wet because the sender’s name is smudged. The flowers are beautiful carnations and ferns. We are in the Bay of Biscay off the coast of France.
