Not only have they contributed to the swelling population of planet earth, but they are moving their progeny about on its surface in a way which simply fills the atmosphere with greenhouse gases. You may view this as irresponsible, short-sighted, and not in anyone’s interest but their own. You may explain their decision to reproduce as unthinking fulfilment of some narcissistic need.

However, I would ask you to pause before leaping to judgment. After all, the choices made by an individual parent are but a drop in the ocean. Below is a counter showing the human population of the earth, updated every ten seconds. Watch it for a little while, and then ask yourself what difference it would make if any individual or couple were to have one less child.
